Do It Yourself - Measuring Guide
for replacement Spa Cover
1) Select the shape to the right that represents your spa style to use as a measure guide.
2) Measure each required dimension edge to edge (shown below) in inches at the widest point. Round up every measurement to the nearest full inch. A good rule of thumb is that if a cover is slightly too big, it will probably work fine. If it’s a little too small, it will not work.
3) Be sure that you get measurement in relation to the fold right!

4) Measure the skirt. This is best done by measuring spa cover skirt as shown below. Typically the skirt is just long enough to cover the acrylic part of the spa above the cabinet. Please note that cover skirts help protect the acrylic (thick plastic) part of your spa from harmful UV rays so it is important that they hang down enough to cover the acrylic. If your spa is an in ground installation or has a rail or cover lift that sticks out from the cabinet under the acrylic, you must be sure that your measurement is not too long to avoid bunching of the skirt.
5 Tie Down Strap Measure. Start your measure from the top of the skirt on your existing cover down to the point where the strap meets the clip. (Do not include the clip itself) In order to meet standard safety ratings, we must ship your cover with tie down straps. So, if you have a flush mount installation, you can order straps as short as 1.5” longer than your skirt. |
7” standard straps will be included if no length is entered
